Starsun Sohar (FZC) LLC represents the strategic GCC expansion of Starsun Alloys, carrying forward over 23 years of proven metallurgical and chemical excellence from India into the Sultanate of Oman.
Located strategically in the Sohar Freezone (North Al Batinah Governorate), the plant operates on an allocated 7,000 m² industrial plot (Plot No. 3461, Block 1) with an additional 2,000 m² reserved for future expansion.
The plant is engineered for comprehensive recycling of spent automotive and Valve-Regulated Lead Acid (VRLA) batteries, with a monthly processing capacity of 1,000 Metric Tonnes (MT) producing high-purity refined lead, specialized master alloys, and lead chemicals with zero-liquid-discharge (ZLD) environmental compliance.

Rotary Smelting Furnace
High-efficiency rotary chamber designed for smelting battery plates, lead paste, and oxide scrap. Features automated charging and optimal heat transfer for maximum recovery of lead bullion.
Air Pollution Control (APCS)
Integrated suction hoods, cooling loops, spark arrester, and high-temperature cyclone separators coupled with Pulse Jet Bag House filtration keeping particulate emission below 10 mg/Nm³.
Zero Liquid Discharge (ZLD)
Advanced Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP) featuring Acid Neutralization, Clari-flocculator, and Reverse Osmosis (RO) systems where 95% of process effluent is purified and recycled back into operations.
